We use this information to process your application for membership and provide the corporate benefits associated with membership. We also use the information to keep you informed of the activities associated with present or past membership of Max Golf.

We may share your personal information with third parties where it is necessary to provide the services. For example, we may provide a golf club with your name and playing handicap to facilitate your use of their facilities.

We rely on the legal basis of contractual obligation when you are a member of Max Golf.

We rely on the legal basis of legitimate interest when you are no longer a member of Max Golf.

 

Storage and retention

Your information is stored electronically in secure databases located in the United Kingdom. We will not transfer your information outside the European Union without your permission.

Personal information of all applicants is held for up to 1 year following their application.

Personal information of members is held for a period of 2 years following the end of their membership period.

At the end of the retention period, information is deleted and from our databases unless there is a lawful basis for retaining it for longer. For example, if we are subject to a court order requiring us to hold the information.

Your right of access – You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information.

Your right to rectification – You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
